TBN South Pacific-Asia is managed by TBN Australia.
Elijah Communications Trust a registered charitable trust in New Zealand and an inter-denominational body serving all who name Jesus as Lord.

Visit the TBN Headquarters Homepage to find out about our parent organization and its history.

Founder of Elijah Communications Trust and now TBN's South Pacific-Asia manager, Owen Sunnex, started part-time volunteer work representing TBN during 1989.

We felt led to use the name Elijah because so much of TBN programming fulfills the prophecy of Malachi:
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the Prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers."
Malachi 4:5-6

In retrospect it is apparent that God was also calling us to fulfill this prophecy of Elijah:
"The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight'."
Mathew 3:3 Isaiah 40:3.
